OPERATION
WARNING
When operating the crane, be sure to set the
engine to low idle and operate the crane at
dead slow speed. If you operate levers
suddenly, there is a risk of damage to the fly
jib due to excessive force, resulting in a
serious accident.
IMPORTANT
This section describes only those operations
for the fly jib specification that differ from the
standard specification.
When operating the fly jib, press the operation
selector switch on the monitor to switch to fly jib
operation.
 The boom/fly jib selector switch on the right-
hand control lever can also be used to
switch between main boom and fly jib
operation.
5.9.4.1 BOOM DERRICKING
OPERATION
Operate the right-hand control lever (1) as
follows:
• Lower: Push the lever forward.
• Neutral: Release your hand from the lever.
The lever returns to the "Neutral"
position and the fly jib derricking stops.
• Raise: Pull the lever back.
5.9.4.2 BOOM TELESCOPING
Operate the left-hand control lever (2) as follows:
• Extend: Push the lever forward.
• Neutral: Release your hand from the lever.
The lever returns to the "Neutral"
position, and the fly jib telescoping
stops.
• Retract: Pull the lever back.
 To move the fly jib, you need to change the
boom/fly jib operation selector switch to "Fly
jib operation" on the monitor or lever. For
details on the switch, refer to "4.2.5 FLY JIB
MODE SCREEN" on P. 4-16.
 The boom/fly jib operation selector switch
can be operated only when the control lever
is in the neutral position.
 You cannot perform the telescoping and
derricking operation of the fly jib at the same
time. The operation performed first takes
priority. The slewing and winch operations
can be performed simultaneously.
