USE OF FUEL AND
LUBRICATING OIL
• To keep the machine in the best possible condition
for a long period of time, we recommend the use of
our specified oil, grease, and coolant as stated in
this instruction manual.
• Using products other than those specified may
result in shortened service life or excessive wear on
the engine, power train, or cooling system.
• Some oil additives sold commercially may reduce
oil performance. We do not recommend the use of
any oil additives available on the market.
• Select the appropriate oil to suit the ambient
temperature, as indicated in the table.
• The specified oil quantity is defined as the total
quantity of oil including that for unit piping, and the
replacement oil quantity is defined as the quantity of
oil to be replaced at inspection and maintenance.
• When starting the engine at temperatures of 0 °C or
lower, always use the recommended multigrade oil,
even if the daytime temperature is higher.
