LEVEL GAUGE
INSPECTION
WARNING
Using the machine when the level gauge does
not display accurately may result in serious
accidents involving death or serious personal
injury due to the machine toppling.
On firm, level ground, check that the level gauge
on the monitor indicates a reading in the centre.
Be sure to check in a location where the horizontal
calibration can be checked or where the horizontal
can be checked using angle gauges or measuring
instruments.
If the display is not accurate, contact us or our
sales service agency for repairs.
WHEN SUCH A
PHENOMENON OCCURS
PHENOMENA THAT ARE
NOT FAULTS
The following phenomena are characteristics of
hydraulic equipment and are not a fault:
• A sound is generated from around the valve
when the boom is retracted to the end and the
telescoping cylinder is relieved on the retraction
side.
• A sound is generated from the brake valve at
the beginning and end of slewing.
• A sound is generated from the travelling brake
valve when the machine travels on a steep
downward slope at low speed.
WHEN FUEL RUNS OUT
To start the engine after fuel runs out, first refuel
and bleed air from the fuel circuit as follows:
• Air entering the fuel system will cause the
engine to experience starting difficulties and
potential malfunction. Be sure to bleed air when
the fuel tank has been emptied, water has been
drained from the fuel, and a filter element has
been replaced.
1.
Turn the starter switch to the "ON" position to
operate the fuel pump. Do not turn the switch
to the "START" position.
2.
Allow the fuel pump to run for approximately
15 seconds.
3.
Turn the starter switch to the "START"
position to start the engine.
