Slide down the hook stowage lever on the
right-hand control lever (1) to hoist the hook
block (3) and tighten the stowage rope (4).
IMPORTANT
Do not use the normal hoisting operation to
tighten the stowage rope. Using the normal
hoisting operation may damage the wire rope
and stowage rope or damage the area around
the stowage position.

DANGER
Pick & Carry is extremely unstable and
dangerous and is prohibited under normal
circumstances.
If Pick & Carry is unavoidable, strictly adhere
to the range described in "List of rated total
load for Pick & Carry" and also in the Pick &
Carry posture. "List of rated total load for
Pick & Carry" gives the values of the loads
the machine can hoist while moving on level,
solid ground.
Unless these precautions for Pick & Carry are
observed, there is a risk of serious personal
injury.
PRECAUTIONS WITH RATED TOTAL LOAD
AND WORKING RANGE FOR PICK & CARRY
When performing Pick & Carry, be sure to strictly
observe the rated total load shown in the table
below.

WORKSITE PRECAUTIONS
Do not approach or perform Pick & Carry on the
following types of ground, as there is a danger of
the machine toppling:
Check the condition of the road surface and
ground beforehand. Arrange marshallers for
dangerous locations or locations with poor
visibility.
• Slopes, soft ground such as marshes, ground
with many obstructions, bumpy ground such as
a riverbed, ground with level differences
• Near deep trenches and road shoulders
• In water or shallows, on snow or frozen road
surfaces
