1. Operate the left-hand control lever (2) to the
"Retract" side (pull toward you) to retract the
boom fully.
Retracting the boom lowers the hook
block. Use the hoisting operation as
appropriate to hoist the hook block.
2. Operate the right-hand control lever (1) to
the "Raise" side (pull inside) to raise the
boom to approximately 70 degrees.
3. Operate the right-hand control lever (1) to
the "Lower" side (push forward) to lower the
hook block to near the battery cover.
Do not lower the hook block (3)
excessively here.
If it is lowered excessively, the loosened
hook block (3) may damage
surrounding equipment.
4. Detach the stowage rope (4) from the rope
hook (5).
5. Hang the stowage rope (4) on the hook
block (3).
6. Operate the right-hand control lever (1) to
the "Lower" side (push outside) to lower the
boom fully.
Hoist the hook block (3) occasionally
here to reduce slack in the wire rope.
Be careful not to allow the hook block
(3) and stowage rope (4) to be
overtightened while doing this.
