5/2020 CC1908S-1 5-89
7. Before travelling on to the ramps, check that
the machine is positioned in a straight line to
the ramps and that the centreline of the
machine is aligned with the centreline of the
trailer.
8. Fix the direction toward the ramps and
slowly travel up to load. Do not operate any
lever other than the travel levers while
travelling on the ramps.
9. Travel slowly and carefully when the
machine travels over the rear wheels of the
trailer, as it may become unstable. Never
attempt to adjust the direction of travel.
10. The machine will tilt backward when it has
passed over the rear wheels. Carefully
reverse to the designated position and stop.
5.11.2.2 SECURING THE MACHINE
IMPORTANT
Retract the radio antenna. Fold in the mirrors
so that they do not protrude beyond the
machine's body width.
After loading the machine to the designated
position on the trailer, secure the machine using
the following procedure:
1. Place the safety lock lever (1) securely in the
lock position (L).
2. Stop the engine and remove the starter
switch key.
3. Close all the doors, windows, and covers.
Lock all the lockable doors, covers, and
caps.
4. Place blocks of wood in front of and behind
the crawler tracks to prevent the machine
from moving during transportation, and use
sufficiently strong chains or wire ropes with
tie-down brackets to secure the machine in
place.
Secure the machine here especially to
prevent it from slipping sideways.
