4. Depress the accelerator pedal approximately
half way to run the engine at medium speed.
5. Slowly operate the left-hand control lever
fully to the "Retract" side (pull backward).
After the boom has fully retracted, hold the
lever in that position for 30 seconds.
Operate the right-hand control lever to the
"Hoist up" side (pull backward) as necessary
so that the hook does not come into contact
with the ground.
6. Slowly operate the right-hand control lever
fully to the "Lower" side (push outside) to
fully lower the boom.
Operate the right-hand control lever to the
"Hoist up" side (pull backward) as necessary
so that the hook does not come into contact
with the ground.
7. Slowly operate the right-hand control lever
fully to the "Raise" side (pull inside) to fully
raise the boom.
Operate the right-hand control lever to the
"Hoist down" side (push forward) as
necessary so that the hook is not
overwound.
8. Slowly operate the left-hand control lever
fully to the "Extend" side (push forward).
After the boom has fully extended, hold the
lever in that position for 30 seconds.
