[1] Hydraulic oil tank replacement and
strainer washing
WARNING
Parts will still be hot immediately after
stopping the engine operation. Do not remove
the strainer immediately. Wait until the oil has
cooled.
IMPORTANT
For details on the oil used, refer to "6.5.1
USE OF FUEL AND LUBRICATING OIL
DEPENDING ON TEMPERATURE" on P.
6-11.
Be sure to arrange the machine in the
travelling posture when checking the oil
level.
If the oil level is checked while in the
working posture, the oil level will be
underestimated and excessive oil will be
added.
After replacing the oil, do not start the
engine for a while until the pipes and
hydraulic equipment are filled with oil.
Replacement oil volume: 110 L
Prepare a container to catch the drained oil.
1.
Stow the hook block in the simple stowage
position, and arrange the machine in its
travelling posture as shown in the figure.
2.
Turn the upper slewing body to the left by 45
degrees so that the drain plug under the
hydraulic oil tank comes between the left and
right crawler tracks.
3.
Set the lock lever to the lock position, and
stop the engine.
4.
Loosen the bolts to remove the cover (1) from
the top of the hydraulic oil tank.
5.
Place a container to catch the drained oil
under the drain plug on the underside of the
machine body.
6.
Remove the drain plug (P) slowly to avoid
splashing oil on yourself, and drain the oil.
