Remove the bimetal (See page 8-23).
Guide the top end of the blocking bar over
the tip of the bimetal plunger to remove the
blocking bar.

REMOVE BLOCKING BAR
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
Replace all parts and panels before
operating.
Remove door lock assembly
(See page 4-23).
Disconnect the wires to the door closed
switch.
Remove 2 star head screws that mount
the switch to the bottom of the door lock
assembly.
Remove the actuator arm with a small
screwdriver using a twisting motion.
Actuator arm may be needed for
replacement switch.
