Remove power from washer and wait 10
minutes before attempting any further steps.
Before working on an inverter, follow the
procedure for testing inverters
See page 7-7). This must be done anytime an
inverter or brake resistor is being worked on.
Unplug the communication cable from the
port on the front of the inverter.

REMOVE MITSUBISHI E500 INVERTER
Remove the cover by pushing in the two
tabs and pulling down. This gives access to
the motor connections on the right side and
the input power connections on the left side
of the inverter.
Remove the small grid supporting the wires.
Disconnect the larger red and black input
power connections.
Disconnect the motor circuit wires,
numbered 3, 1 and 2 on the wiring buss.
TECH TIP: Always note the order these
wires are connected. This is important
because if any two of the three wires are
reversed, the motor rotation will be opposite
what it should be.
NOTE: Do not attach a power supply wire
to any output terminal, because immediate
damage will occur upon applying voltage
and the inverter would be destroyed (No
warranty will apply).
Disconnect the ground wire connections on
the inverter.
