Remove the cabinet (See page 5-4). Or only
sliding the cabinet forward about 1/2 way off
of the frame allows the tech to not have to
remove all the wire ties from the top of the
cabinet.
Mark the top bolt location on the tub ring,
back plate, and tub for reassembly.
Mark locations of the cable harness
brackets on the tub ring.

REMOVE TRUNNION AND BASKET - MFR18 & 25
Mark the location of the anti-rotation strap
on the tub ring.
Remove the basket pulley (See page 6-1).
On MFR25, remove the idler arm
(See page 4-31).
Remove the temperature sensor
(See page 4-42)
Begin with the top center tub ring bolt and
loosen, but not remove, the nut on this bolt.
Remove this nut last. Remove the other
eleven 13mm nuts from the bolts around
the tub ring. Leave the bolts in the tub ring.
The bolts that pass through the spokes
have a washer on the spoke side of the bolt.
All these bolts have fiber lock nuts, which
should be replaced with new fiber lock nuts
if possible.
