Remove spin basket (See page 6-48).
Place a towel in the bottom of the outer tub
to cover the drain hole to avoid dropping
screws into the drain.
Remove the six 17mm bolts and brass
washers from inside the outer tub that
secure the trunnion against the tub back.
Remove reinforcement ring and clean off
any silicone.

REMOVE & REPLACE BEARING ASSEMBLY - MFR80
Use a strong putty knife and hammer to
separate the tub-back from the trunnion.
NOTE: These parts are held together with
a semi-permanent gasket material similar
to Loctite® 5203™. Do not use a silicone
product for this because it needs to be
removable.
Remove the top and bottom M16 hex bolts
from the bearing housing.

Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
Replace all parts and panels before
operating.
