Unlock the top of the washer and remove
four screws from the chemical dispenser.
Remove four screws, two from each hinge
on each side, on the back of the washer.
Lift the top up to disengage from the hinges
and remove it.
NOTE: This is a butterfly hinge with two
screws at the top of each hinge and two pop
rivets at the bottom of each hinge. Earlier
models may have all pop rivets which will
require drilling out the top two rivets in
each hinge to remove the top. To replace
the hinge totally, drill out the pop rivets and
replace the hinge.
