Mov e your mouse around in a ra ndom manner within the Wizard window
and/or randomly pr ess characters on your keyboard u ntil progress bar
shown in the dialog bo x is comple tely filled in.
The mouse movement or character pressing on your keyboard generates
random information used by the PGPdisk prog ram as part of the
encryption (data scrambling) process.
9. Click Next. A progress bar indicates how much of the PGPdiskvolume has
been init ialize d.
10. Click Nex t to mount your PGPd isk.
11. Click Finish. T he fo rmat w indow a ppears o n your screen.
12. Enter a label for t he new volum e (this label identifies the volume in
Windows Explorer).
13. Click Star t. A warning dialog box appears.
14. Click OK (there is no data on the disk). The system indicates that
formatting is complete.
15. Click Close on the for m at w indo w. Y o ur PG Pdisk volume appears i n an
Explorer w indow and a n icon representing your volum e also appears in
the location you specifie d. Double- click the ic on to o p en the volume .

Add/Remove Public Keys
You can add a nd remo ve public keys for a PGPdisk file. This ena b le s you and
oth ers whoknowthepassphraseforthosekeysto usethepassphraseto mount
the v olume.
1. Make sure that the PGPdisk is not mounted. You cannot add a public key
if the PGP disk file is mounted .
2. Choose A dd/Remove Public K eys from the File menu.
3. Select the PGPdisk from the Select PGPdisk toolbar. You are prompted to
enter the master pas sphrase. After entering appr opriate passphr ase, the
Recipient Selection d ialog box is displayed.
4. If adding a public key
Drag the key or keys you want to add from the top pane of the
window, to the bottom of the pane.
