To undo a Control Panel setting:
1. Click Undo a Windows S ettings Change on the Univer sal Undo screen.
The Und o a Windows Setting di alog box appear s.
2. Follow the screen instru ctions.
Using Ask Advisor
Ask Advisor allow s you to access sources o f info rm ation about your com p uter
which can assist you in trou bleshooting problems or simply learn more about
your computer. These sources of information include:
• Kn owledgeBase which contain thousands of solu tions to PC problems.
• Glossary w hich list terms and a cronyms.
• Technical Support Yellow Pagesprovides names, addresses and technical
support contact n umbers of hardware and software companies; Videos
displays presentation about Wi ndows and your PC.
• System Info gener a tes detailed inventory o f y our co mputer’s
configuration which is useful when contacting technical support.
To display any of these information:
1. Click Ask Advisor fro m the First Aid 2 000 main screen.
2. Select the source you want t o view.
3. Click Back if youwant to return to the previousscreen and select another
source.
Creating a Rescue Disk
Rescue disk is an emergency boot disk that you can use to retstart your PC
later if you en counter a problem th at prevents you from starting the computer
from the system hard drive.
You can use the Rescue disk that is created by default.
A rescue disk is created via t he Rescue D isk wizard. After the wizard w indow
is displayed:
1. Click the Next > button in the Rescue Disk Wizard.
2. Use the default Rescue disk.
