• Defragmentati on status displays the information as to when you last
defragmented se lected drive with Dis k Tune. You can click Run Disk
Tune... now to p erform defragmentation o n this drive us ing Disk Tune.
• Error-checking status displays information as to when you last checked
selected drive for errors with Diskminder. You can click Diskminder
Now... to run a check on this drive for errors using Diskminder. Follow the
wizard to complete the task.
• Disk recovery status displays information as to whether an image of
sele ct ed drive have b e en made using M cAfee Image . You can c lick Run
Image Now... to take a snapshot of this d rive using the McAfee Image.
Follow the screen wizard to complete the task.
If you do not w ant to perform a ny of these McAfe e Utilities components via
the Pr operties dialo g box, select Disable this property sheet page.
After making your selection, click Apply; then click O K.
Start Menu tab
The Start Menu tab displays options you can select to access faster, frequen tly
run applications and control panel applets. Select Enable S tart Menu
Enhancements to activate this option. After activating th is option, two
additional options are also available:
• Select Cascade C ontrol Panel applets to add a cascadin g c o ntrol panel to
thestartmenu.Thisenablesyoutogoinstantlytotheappletyouwantto
access.
• Select Cascade Run Menu t o ad d a cascading r un m enu listing comm ands
you have run recently. This enables you to run these commands again
directly from the menu.
After making your selection, click Apply; then click O K.
Trash Guard tab
The Trash Guard tab displays options you can select to customize the way you
want Trash Guard to work on your computer.
• In the Settings b ox , che ck E nable T ra sh Gua rd to act ivate ut ility on your
computer.
• In the Files to exclude text b ox, se le ct a file format you want to modify or
remove. N ext, click the appropriate button on the right-hand si de of the
text box.
