Shortcut Wizard
Shortcut Wizard allows you to fix or delete shortcut icons that you have
created whic h may no longer be valid as the f iles or applications it p oints to
may have already been moved to another location or deleted entirely.
The Shortcut Wizard box allows you to:
• Repair or p haned shortcuts au tomatic ally. Aft er list of invalid or orphaned
shortcuts is displayed in the wizard box, you can set Shortcut W izard to
automati cally repair any o r phaned shortcuts possible.
• Repair orphaned shortcuts m anually. After list of invalid or or phaned
shortcuts is displayed, you can select an entry and repair it manually by
ente ring a new path to the original file, or by browsin g to loca te the o rigina l
file.
• Delete orphaned shortcuts. If wizard displays orphaned shortcut that
points to a file or folder that h as been deleted already, y ou can select to
delete shortcut sin ce i t no longer serves any purpose.

Crash Protector
Recovering from an Application Error
Crash Protector continuously monitors your system to detect when an
application performs an invali d o peration or damages any critical part of your
system. When such "Fault" conditions occur, Crash Protector suspends the
app lication and displays a di alog box (see Figure 4-15).
