If you measured a nominal label length of 210 mm and the print
measurement shows 205.5 mm:
The slip correction setting needs to be altered by -20.
Heavily simplified: if the printout is too long, the slip correction has to be reduced.

The printer shows the currently setting value, please add your new
slip correction (considering the signs).
In continuation of the example above:
If the printer shows the current slip correction value 35 you have to
add the value -20. The result is: reduce the slip correction to 15.
