12.3. Using the Windows Printer Driver
The Microplex Windows printer driver for logiJET TC 8 represents the
simplest way to generate a printout in color. The Windows driver produces a
print data stream according to the colors defined in the application.
The color allocations (compare section 12.1 and 12.2) have to be taken into
account when working in the application.
12.3.1. Plug and Play Installation
1. Connect the logiJET TC8 printer to your PC via Ethernet or
USB, e.g.
2. Turn the printer logiJET TC8 on.
3. The operating system of your PC should detect the printer and
the Windows hardware assistant should appear.
4. Choose that you want to install the driver from a specific
source and select the drive that contains the Microplex CD
(USER MANUALS AND TOOLS).
5. Enter the driver directory (MPX-Manuals\Drivers).
6. Select the file that carries the extension INF.
7. Follow the instructions.
12.3.2. Using the Add Printer Wizard
1. Start the Add Printer Wizard:
Windows Start\Printer and Faxes\Add a printer
2. Follow the instructions.
3. Choose that you want to install the driver from a specific
source and select the drive that contains the Microplex CD
(USER MANUALS AND TOOLS).
4. Enter the driver directory (MPX-Manuals\Drivers).
5. Select the file that carries the extension INF.
