- check the printhead pressure of both printheads
(see section 5.3 Printhead Pressure Adjusting).
- check the ribbon transport of both print units (load
the ribbon again, if necessary; see section 5.2)
- check both print units: is the ribbon tension on
either side of the ribbon even? If not, adjust the
ribbon tension on either side of the ribbon. (See
section 8.2 Avoiding Ribbon Slack and Wrinkles)
- increase the density (see section 7.26)
- choose different consumables (Adjust media to
the ribbon or vice versa. See chapter 3, 4, 5
and 7)
- check the environment conditions and correct them
if necessary. (Admissible values for humidity,
temperature etc., see section 2.3 and chapter 11)
