Adjusting the printer to the actual used media (Paper Type) is described in
section 7.1. The following example describes the steps of the automatic
sensor adjust of the Gap Sensor (transparent sensor).

Notes
Turn the printer OFF LINE with this key.
Press the NEXT or PREVIOUS key until
[Engine ] is displayed.
Press the ENTER key. This selects the
Engine menu.
Press the NEXT or PREVIOUS key until
[Sync. Menu ] is displayed.
Press the ENTER key. This selects the
Sync. menu.
Press this key to start the autom.
sensor adjustment.
Open the rear printhead and place label
(with liner) in the sensor area.
Close the printhead.
Press ENTER: the printer automatically
measures the contrast value.
Open the rear printhead and place (only)
liner in the sensor area.
Close the printhead.
Press ENTER: the printer automatically
measures the contrast value.
In addition this new value can be saved
as setup value (using the ENTER key).
After this decision turn the printer ON
LINE again: Press the ONLINE key
longer than 2 seconds.
