Selectthetipthatallowsyoutospraytherateandspeedsatthelowestdesiredspraypressure.Itisimportantto
rememberthatIntelliSpray™canonlyreducetheowfromanozzle,soalwaysoversizethenozzles.Agoodrule
ofthumbis,“Doublethesize(owrate)ofthespraytipyouwouldhaveused,ifsprayingconventionally(without
IntelliSpray™)”.
Usethespraychartincludedinthedocumentationpacketthatcamewithyourmachinetoselectaspraytipforyour
application.Selectthetipsizebasedonrateandspeed;selectthetipstylebasedondropletsizeandcoverage,then
selecttip.
Spraytipangleandtipoverlaparealwaysimportant;however,withIntelliSpray™andthepulsingnozzlestheyare
evenmoreimportant.Itisrecommendedtouse110°tipswhenpossible.If110°tipsarenotavailableinthestyleyou
desire,80°tipscanbeusediftheboomissetataheightthatprovides100%overlapofthespraypattern.

2.TurnOntheratecontroller.VerifytheRate1,Rate2andpressureresponsesettings.
3.Withthethrottleatanidle,engagepump.
4.ConrmIntelliSpray™isinAutomaticcontrolmode.
5.Movethethrottletohalf.
6.Pressureshouldmovetothepressuresetpoint.
7.TouchtheIntelliSpray™pressuregaugetoactivatesoftkeysontheright-handsideoftheratecontrolleruntil
increase(+)/decrease(-)buttonsareshown.Press+/-toincreasethepressuretosetthedesiredpressure.
8.TouchtheIntelliSpray™pressuregageagainuntilthepressureset-pointsoftkeysaredisplayed(defaultis
138kPa(20psi)and414kPa(60psi)),pressureshouldmovetothesecondpressuresetpoint.
9.Touchtherstpressureset-pointsoftkey,thepressureshouldmovebacktherstsetpressure.
10.T ouchthesecondpressureset-pointsoftkeytoreturntothesecondsetpressure.
11.Movethethrottletofull,pressureshouldjumpthenreturntothesetpoint.
12.Youarereadytospray.TurnOnyourboomsandspray.
