If none of the heads or nozzle rows discharges ink, check the following:
1. Check that the head ID is entered correctly.
2. If either nozzle row of the same head does not shot ink, check the defective section by
exchanging the 21-wire FPC (connected to the head) within the same nozzle row.
• Do not exchange the FPC between rows A and B because of power short-circuit.

3-3-4. Cutting failure
Problems The cutter goes up during media cutting.
Causes 1) Main FPC has disconnected.
Checking procedure 1) Check whether or not the phenomenon occurs at a specific position in
terms of the Y-direction.
Remedies 1) Replace the main FPC cable with a new one.
