Preoperative Tests Leak and Compliance Tests
2. Follow the instructions on the screen:
1. Seal the Y-piece:
2. Ensure that the sample line port of the breathing circuit is occluded.
3. Install the manual bag.
4. Set the Auto/Manual switch to the Auto position:

flush button to completely fill the bellows.
6. Select Continue to proceed with the Automatic Circuit Leak Test.
NOTE: The Continue button can be selected only when the Auto/Manual
switch is set to the Auto position and when no fresh gas is detected.
3. Compare the test results with the information in TABLE 4-3, “Automatic Circuit Leak and
Compliance Test Results,” on page 4-10, and proceed accordingly.
