9.1.7 Upgrading the SMB Controller Software
The SMB Controller comes with Mitel Embedded Linux with SMB Controller Manager software
installed. However, due to ongoing updates and product improvements. It is recommended to
upgrade the SMB Controller manager firmware to the latest packages prior to installation and
configuration of the applications.
Note:
•
If MSL is already installed, it might be necessary to install a new version of the same,
after an update of the SMB Controller system software.For more details, see Install MSL
Container on page 98.
