Deployment Steps for the MiVoice Business Solution on SMB Controller
9.1.1 Requirements
General Requirements
• A computer with an internet browser, internet access. Partner login credentials to
access Mitel MiAccess Portal.
The following browsers are supported.
•
Chrome
•
Firefox
•
Microsoft Edge
• Internet access is for licensing and software downloads.
• For SIP Trunks, you need a SIP account provided by a SIP provider.
Required Downloads
Before you start, download the required documents and applications. For details, see Download
documents, system software and tools on page 5.
9.1.2 Set up Initial Network Access to the SMB Controller
A brand new or a factory reset SMB Controller starts with Eth0 in a DHCP Client mode by default
and obtains its IP address from a DHCP Server. If the communication server cannot find a DHCP
server within 90 seconds, it uses the default IP address, and the system is then accessible via
the default IP address (192.168.104.13/255.255.255.0 with default gateway 0.0.0.0).
