Select Install next to the Initial Configuration Wizard Blade and follow the steps.
Note:
It is not necessary to install this blade after the MiVoice Business or MiVoice Border
Gateway blades, however Initial Configuration Wizard has nothing to provision
without the MiVoice Business blade. A MiVoice Business blade must be present in
order for the Initial Configuration Wizard to launch.
9.2 Configure the Applications
The section in this chapter describes the web-based tool Server Manager , the web-based
configuration tool Initial Configuration Wizard as well as some additional options.
9.2.1 Initial Configuration Wizard
The Initial Configuration Wizard (ICW) is used for the initial configuration of the MiVoice Business
and multiple applications.
Note:
It is recommended to use the Initial Configuration Wizard to configure the MiVoice
Business and other applications on SMB Controller.
ICW allows you to configure the system with the basic settings required to get the system up and
running. After launching, the wizard configures the system with your settings. ICW guides you
through the following configuration steps:
• Review initial configuration parameters
• Select and configure Resiliency
• Configure administration email and servers
• Configure numbering plan
• Configure SIP Trunking (optional)
• Configure incoming call configuration
• Select and configure SIP provider
• Change the administrator password for MiVB
• View a summary of the configuration
• Download Logs
