Performing Vacuum Leak Test
The vacuum leak test uses tester that creates a vacuum inside the radio and monitors the radio for a stable
vacuum reading. This reading shows if the radio is properly sealed.
Prerequisites:
● Remove the battery from the radio.
● Replace the main O-ring with a new one.
Procedure:
1. Attach the vacuum hose to the vacuum leak tester.
2. To verify that the leak tester is functioning, check the leak tester and the hose for leaks by blocking off
the open end of the hose and operating the leak tester a few times.
