3. Slide the Knob Opener from either behind or front direction into the Frequency knob. Using the Knob
Opener, push the Frequency knob upwards until it is free from the Frequency switch.
NOTE: Note: Pay close attention on the Knob Opener direction and the sequence of the knobs
removal as stated in step 2 and step 3.

Using the Manual Removal Method
Procedure:
1. Hold the radio in one hand so that the top of the radio faces upward, and the front of the radio faces
you.
2. With the other hand, grasp the Frequency knob and pull it upward until the knob is free from the
Frequency switch.
3. Repeat step 2 to remove the Volume knob.
