Removing the Main Board
Prerequisites: Recommended tools:
6IP Torx-Plus bit
Torx driver
Procedure:
1. Using the Torx driver with the 6IP Torx-Plus bit, unscrew the two screws at the top portion of the main
board with the torque of 2.5±0.1 in-lb (0.28±0.011 Nm).
2. Carefully remove all flex connectors from the main board.
3. Gently tilt the bottom portion of the main board upwards but do not pull out the board at this time.
Using the other hand, push either the frequency or volume metal stub to ease the removal of the
board.
4. With the main board partially lifted, remove the speaker assembly connector.
5. Remove the main board from the front housing assembly.
