Managing Firmware and Reset Options
The Firmware selections on the navigation menu enable you to manage the switch’s firmware and
configuration files and reset the switch:
Upload or download the firmware and configuration files between a TFTP Server or HTTP
Host and the switch so that you can back up and either restore or update the switch.
Reset the switch to its factory default values.
Restart the switch with its current configuration.
The section includes this information under the following headings:
“File Management”
“Factory Reset”
“Reset”
File Management
Click File Management in the lower part of the blue navigation panel to expand the item to File
Upload and File Download.
File Upload
File Upload enables you to back up the current firmware and configuration switch files to a TFTP
Server or HTTP Host.
1. Click File Upload in the blue navigation panel. A screen similar to that shown below appears.
