If the target image does move, rotate the telescope focusing ring. Then repeat
from Step c.
3. Rotate the tangent screw:
– The final turn of the tangent screw should be in a clockwise directions, to
align the target accurately on the center crosshairs.
Setting the Measurement Mode and Preparing the
Target 2.1
The NPL-362/352/332 has two measurement
modes: Prism mode (
Prism) and Reflectorless
mode (
N-Prism). These modes can be changed
at any time by holding down the
[MSR1] or [MSR2]
key for one second. For more information, see,
page 60.
Table 2.1 describes how to set the measurement
mode depending on the target you want to measure.
In some cases, you can measure another target that is not appropriate to the set
measurement mode.
