 User Mode
User Mode is used to set operations and check
the status of the printer.
Menu names such as [Card Count] and [Ribbon
Type] appear on the LCD Panel.
Switching to User Mode
This section explains how to switch from Normal Mode to User Mode.

1 Press the Power Switch to turn on the
power.
• When the power starts and the printer turns on in
Normal Mode, and [Ready to Print] appears on the
LCD Panel.
2 Press the MENU Key.
• The User Mode top menu is displayed on the LCD
Panel.
Note
 You can use the procedure above to enter the User Mode even when a printer error
occurs.
 While the top menu is displayed, pressing the MENU Key will display [Exit Menu ?].
Then pressing the SET Key will return to Normal Mode.
