If the Ink Ribbon or Transfer Film are Cut
If the Ink Ribbon or Transfer Film are cut for any reason, then repair these using the method
below.
1 Remove the Ink Ribbon Cassette or
Transfer Film Cassette.

Cassette and Transfer Film Cassette.
2 Carefully trim the cut section with
scissors.
3 Use cellophane tape to join the ribbon
or film.
• Place the cut area in the middle.
• Join the cut surfaces so that they are aligned properly.
• Do not discard the used ink or film on the winding side.
