6.8 Cleaning sensors
An error message in the operator panel notifies you that it is time for cleaning.
6.8.1 Cleaning the toner mark sensor
Proceed as follows:
1. If the printing system has not yet stopped, click the following button:
2. Remove the photoconductor drum(see section 7.3.1 Replacing the photoconductor
drum, page 257).
3. Clean the toner mark sensor with a soft
cloth.
4. Reinsert the photoconductor drum(see section 7.3.1 Replacing the photoconductor
drum, page 257).
5. Click the following button to switch the printing system to the "Ready" status:
