6.9.1 Cleaning the paper edge sensor in the fuser station
Proceed as follows:
1. If the printing system has not yet stopped, click the following button:
2. Lift up cover hood.
3. Only for printing systems with heated
preheating saddle:
Open cover above the preheating
saddle.
Caution
The preheating saddle can be very hot. Danger of burning if touched.
Do not touch the hot preheating saddle when you are cleaning the paper edge
sensor.
4. Clean paper edge sensor at the fuser
station infeed with the cleaning
equipment (A) supplied.
