This block provides information to identify the drive hardware and firmware version.

Parameter Tag Range
VERSION NUMBER 155 0x0901
The drive's version number as seen via communications. Version 9.01 is represented as 0x0901.
Serial communications mnemonic = V0. The version number cannot be changed, and is software version dependent.
DRIVE TYPE 1298 590P/590
This output parameter indicates the type of control board detected in the drive (should read 590 on a 590 or 591 product).
