16. Torque head bolts in proper sequence. Refer to
specifications in the beginning of this chapter.
17. Reassemble water pump carefully installing seal.
18. Install crankcase seal to ignition/water pump
housing from inside toward outside until bottomed
on housing. Spring and seal lip must face inward
toward crankshaft.
19. Apply 3 Bond¥ sealant to pump housing crankcase
mating surface and carefully install onto crankcase.
Tighten water pump to engine hose clamp and
torque bolts to specification.
