4.1 Ambient Conditions for Operation
Ambient conditions for operation
n Temperature: 0 °C ... + 50 °C
n Air humidity: < 90 % relative air humidity (non-condensing)
The controller may not be installed in hazardous environments or
in places where it could be exposed to spraying water or chemi‐
cals. The installation site must be dry, well ventilated and free of
corrosive gases.
Select an installation site without vibrations, on a suitable base sur‐
face without deformations.
Protect the controller from rain, frost and direct sunlight.

Remember to switch off the controller before
undertaking installation and electrical wiring.
The prerequisite for protection class IP65 is that
the terminal cover and transparent cover of the
controller are sealed, that the cable openings have
been selected in accordance with the cable diame‐
ters and are correctly sealed.
