Temperature sensor: the pH measurement is dependent on the
temperature of the sample medium. You have the option of
selecting a temperature sensor (if one is installed) under
‘Temperature compensation’
. The temperature sensor is used to
adjust the measurement, correlated to the temperature of the
sample medium. The value displayed is then the compensated
value and no longer the measured value.
It is possible to select a temperature compensation sensor to
adjust the pH value to the temperature of the sample medium. This
sensor is “optional” and is not included in the basic calculation.
8.1.3 Menu: Configuration and installation of the outputs
The
‘OUTPUTS’
menu lets you access the configuration of the
relays and the 4 ... 20 mA outputs to be used. Press

The screen displays the configured and unused outputs. You can
configure its installation by pressing configured outputs, changing
the configuration or by pressing an unused output.
PO1 and PO2: self-powered relay outputs. These outputs do not
have pulse frequency modulation (PFM).
FO1 and FO2 CRT: potential-free relay outputs. These outputs
have pulse frequency modulation (PFM) but are limited to 180
pulses per minute.
RO1 and RO2: electronic relay outputs (single contact). These out‐
puts have pulse frequency modulation (PFM), programmable up to
500 pulses/minute.
For your convenience, the names of the outputs POx, FOx, ROx,
AOx are screen printed in front of the terminal of your device.
