Explanation of Individual Menu Items
$
This parameter allows to adapt the fuser temperature to media properties.
(for thick paper and labels; about 190
(for thin paper; about 160
Fuser temperature adjustment is necessary when temperature sensitive
formsets (e.g. labels) are printed.
$
TONER DENSITY (Art.-No: 8707 400 020xx and 8707 410 010xx)
This parameter allows to adjust the toner density.

LOW

HIGH
Note: The density will not be changed
immediately but after having printed
about 70 to 100 pages.

VER SHIFT (VERTICAL SHIFT)
$
HOR SHIFT (HORIZONTAL SHIFT)
The parameters VER SHIFT and HOR SHIFT allow to precisely position the
print image vertically (
50...+200/100) and horizontally (
50...+50/100). The
adjustment can be done in steps of 1/100 inch (0.25 mm); factory default
value of both parameters is zero.
$
CUT SHIFT (Vertical Positioning for Cutting Device)
This parameter is meant to shift the cut position.
The parameter covers a range of
50...+50/100 of an inch, where "-" is up
the page and "+" is further down the page. The default value is zero.
If it is not required to cut exactly through the perforation then the paper
should be cut about 0.5 mm
above the perforation the remaining paper can be easily bent and cause
Do not cut through a label as the blade would get dirty

BRIGHTNESS (Art.-No: 8707 400 030xx, 8707 410 030xx, 8707 410 032xx and
8707 410 012xx
This parameter allows to adjust the toner density. The range is between 1 and 9,
default setting is 5. The Brightness value controls the dimmer value of the LED
head.
Note: The density will be changed immediately and is directly visible
