cable disconnections, or a bad fiber ele-
ment.
lip_count Loop initialization primitive sequence
count. The primitive sequence applies
only to the loop topology, and is transmit-
ted by an L_Port to initialize the loop.
loss_of_signal_count Number of times the signal on the link
was lost
