Concepts
EachHMUisallocatedtooneoffourHBSlevelslabelledA,B,CandD.Theoperating
parametersforeachlevel(suchasVLAN,MIR,QoS,timeslots,fixedrate,Spatial
Multiplexing /Diversityantennamode)canbedifferentforeachlevelallowingforbroad
prioritizationofservicebetweendifferenttypesofmobileunits.ThisrequiresthateachHMU
beassignedaleveltojoinasector.TheactualjoiningprocessisquitedynamicsincetheHSU
willtypicallymovefromsectortosectorathighspeed.
