Theambientoutdooroperatingtemperatureshouldbe‐35to60C(31to140F).
AdditionalIndoorSiteRequirements
Theambientoperatingtemperatureshouldbe0to50°C(32to122°F)atahumidityofupto
90%,noncondensing
Stage3:RFSurvey
TheRFsurveyexaminesthewirelessenvironmentoftheinstallationsite,todetermine
whetherthereareavailablechannelswithintheradiooperatingfrequencyband.AnRF
surveyisperformedusingaspectrumanalyzer.
Itisadvisabletofamiliarizeyourselfwiththespectrumanalyzerbeforegoingoutonsite,
specificallytheMaxHoldandMarkerfunctions.
YoushouldperformtheRFsurveyateachoftheproposedsectorsites.
Thesurveyshouldbecarriedoutduringabusytimeofday,tobestjudgetheworstcaseradio
inte rference.Allow24hoursdurationforagoodRFsurvey.
RFPlanningforDenseInstallationsand
CollocatedSites
Interferencemayarisefrom
SelfinterferencefromcollocatedRADWINradios
Othercollocatedradiodevicesinstalledonthesamesite.
Toavoidorminimizeinterference,followtheserecommendations:
ForcollocatedRADWINunits,useanHSSunittosynchronizebetweenthem.Selecta
differentoperatingchannelforeachcollocatedRADW INunit.
