Chapter13:
HubSiteSynchronization
WhatisHubSiteSynchronization(HSS)
Whenseveralradiosarecollocatedatacommonhubsite,interferencemayoccurfromone
unittoanother.RADWINODUssupportthecollocationofmorethantwounitsatacentral
site.LikeanyotherRFdeployment,thewirelessoperationishighlydependentonfactors
suchasavailablefrequencies,thephysicalspacingbetweenradios,otherthirdparty
interferingradios,andwhetherotherRADWINradiosareinstalled.

transmissionwitheachother.Thepulsesynchronizationensuresthattransmissionoccursat
thesametimeforallcollocatedunits.Thisalsoresultsinallofthehubsiteunitsreceiving
dataatthesametime,eliminatingthepossibilityofinterferencethatcouldresultifsome
