4.11.2 FUSING UNIT
Turn off the main switch and wait until the fusing unit cools down before beginning
any of the procedures in this section. The fusing unit can cause serious burns.
1. If you will install a lot of new parts in the fusing unit (at PM for example), then set SP
3902-014 to "1".
If you do this, then the machine will reset the PM counter for the fusing unit
automatically, after you turn the power on again.
Do not do this if you replace the complete fusing unit. This is because the
fusing unit has a new detection mechanism.
2. Turn off the main power switch.
3. Open the right door.
4. Front fusing stopper [A] ( x 1)
5. Rear fusing stopper [B] ( x 1)
6. Release the lock levers [A].
7. Hold the fusing unit handles [B], and then pull out the fusing unit.
