2. Pressing the cloth against the roller [A], wipe the surface of the roller while turning the
gear [B].
3. Wipe the switchback roller [A] with a cloth moistened with alcohol.

1. Release the lock lever of the paper transport unit and pull the paper transport unit out.
2. Remove the top cover [A].
You can remove the top cover by lifting it while pressing the tab on the front.
