Waiting Time Prior to Printing is Too Long (Other than Envelope)
After receiving a print job, the machine usually stops to let the fusing temperature reach an appropriate
level for printing.
Solution:
By decreasing the fusing temperature during standby, you can reduce the waiting time.
By changing the fusing temperature to feed paper after warm-up, you can also reduce the waiting time.
1. If the paper is not registered as custom paper, register the brand of the paper.
2. In [Detailed settings] for custom paper, check the fusing temperature at [Heat Roller
Temp] in 1232: [Fusing Temperature].

• 1232-06: Fusing Temperature: FCS: Heat Roller Temp: Clear/Special
• 1232-07: Fusing Temperature: FCS: Heat Roller Temp: White

• 1232-26: Fusing Temperature: S: Heat Roller Temp: Clear/Special

3. Check if the fusing temperature is 140°C or lower.
Yes Go to the next step.
No Proceed to Step 5.
