Chapter 6 Configure and Start the Kinetix 5500 Drive System
7. From the Edit menu, choose Controller Properties.
The Controller Properties dialog box appears.
8. Click the Date/Time tab.
9. Check Enable Time Synchronization.
The motion modules set their clocks to the module that you assign as the
Grandmaster.
10. Click OK.
IMPORTANT Check Enable Time Synchronization for all controllers that
participate in CIP Sync™. The overall CIP Sync network
automatically promotes a Grandmaster clock, unless the priority
is set in the Advanced tab.
