1. Weep hole
Coolant leaking out of the hole indicates a defec-
tive rotary seal. Leaking oil indicates a faulty oil
seal.
However, if seal is disassembled both parts have
to be replaced together.
Removal
Remove:
– coolant pump housing no. 6
CAUTION: Always unscrew the impeller clock-
wise otherwise you can damage the compo-
nents.
– unscrew the impeller no. 8 clockwise
– remove PTO cover no. 10 (refer to PTO HOUS-
ING/MAGNETO section)
– remove screws no. 11 retaining oil pump cover

– remove oil pump cover no. 12
– remove outer oil pump rotor no. 13

1. Outer oil pump rotor
– extract the coolant/oil pump shaft no. 9 from
outside PTO housing cover with a pusher

– remove rotary seal no. 14 with a screwdriver
